“What?! What are you saying?!” Susan exclaimed. “You mean your ex–wife, Thalassa?”

“Which other Thalassa do we all know?” Kris gritted out.

“But… how can that lowlife woman be the owner of the biggest fashion business in Baltimore?” his aunt said until she saw the dark look on his mother’s face. “I mean second best.”

His mother sounded like she was hyperventilating, so Kris immediately went closer to her. “Mum, calm down.”
