Kris went to bed in a very bad mood. It had been three days since he started living in the house, and yet he felt like he had made zero progress with Thalassa, even without Zeke standing in his way.

He’d come to sit there early hoping to catch some time with Thalassa before she left for work, but she’d walked right out of the house after telling Luisa that she was going to get breakfast at a cafe on her way to the Fashion House.
