Josiah approached the bedside, seeing that Aurora had already changed into her little indoor outfit. Aurora- looked as adorable as a moving plush toy, which instantly put him at ease.

He then sat down by the bed, keeping an eye on Aurora to prevent her from rolling over. With a serious expression, he said, “You seemed to behave differently toward Tiffany today.”

Josiah resolutely shook his head. “No, and I’m not defending her. I just remember how you used to take care of her, even saying she was a sheltered child and so you don’t need to guard against her like you just did.
