The trio walked into the company together and were greeted by Taylor's assistant, Amanda. Her eyes scanned their name badges, finally landing on Evelyn. She gave her a once-over with an unreadable expression and said, "So, you're Evelyn. The one Ms. Taylor is fond of."

"I'm thankful for her appreciation. I'll do my best not to disappoint her," Evelyn responded humbly.

Amanda's expression remained unchanged. She was a bit chilly as she remarked, "Let's see if you can make it through the probation period before you start making promises."

Dahlia chimed in with a friendly tone, "Hey Amanda, I know you're a coffee aficionado. Charles asked me to bring you some special brew to try. If you like it, I'll bring more next time." She pulled out a beautifully packaged box of coffee from her bag and handed it to Amanda. Amanda didn't react to Charles' name immediately, but her eyes lit up at the sight of the brand on the coffee box. As a coffee lover, she recognized the Jenkins family special blend-something you couldn't easily buy. She'd been wanting to try it for ages.

There were whispers around the office about Dahlia having some vague connection with the Jenkins family. Amanda thought it was just gossip, but now it seemed there was some truth to it. Her demeanor towards Dahlia warmed considerably, and her tone softened. "Please thank Mr. Jenkins for me."

"Sure thing," Dahlia replied with a smile.

After tucking the coffee away, Amanda introduced the three to the rest of the department. She highlighted Dahlia's accomplishments. "Meet Dahlia, the first-place winner of the recent jewelry design contest. Let's give her a warm welcome." Amanda started the applause, and the others joined in.

Then, she casually introduced the others. "And this is Evelyn and Grace."

"Hi, everyone. I'm Evelyn," Evelyn greeted sincerely, her eyes full of earnestness.
