These days, Evelyn wasn't holding her breath for anything from Charles. Dahlia, riding high on Charles' favoritism, had the nerve to throw baseless accusations at Evelyn, which landed her in the basement, facing all kinds of torment. Evelyn wouldn't let anything slide, not Charles' betrayal and certainly not Dahlia's plotting. Even if getting back at Charles had to wait, Evelyn wasn't about to let last night's ordeal go unpaid.
