Zada was shaking with anger, her whole body trembling as she clutched her phone. “I’m taking this video straight to the police. You’re going to jail for murder!”

She turned to leave.

Sierra panicked. Too many things had gone wrong tonight, and now, Zada had the evidence that could destroy her. If that video reached the police, it was all over.

No! That couldn’t happen. Absolutely not!

Sierra lunged forward and grabbed Zada’s arm. Her voice cracked. “Stop! Please don’t go to the police. I don’t wanna go to jail!”

Zada let out a bitter laugh. “You didn’t think about that when you poisoned Halsey, did you? Oh, that’s right- you wanted me to take the fall. You thought you’d get away clean and come out on top.”

“Please!” Sierra begged. “You can’t turn me in. I won’t let you! Give me the phone, now! Hand it over! I need to delete that video!”

She reached for it, but Zada held on tight, keeping it out of reach. “Let go of me! You’re desperate, and it’s showing. What won’t you do to save yourself at this point?”
