The Man's Decree

Brad leaped into the air and thrust his hammer at Jared. The surrounding air turned white, pinning Jared to his spot.

“Jared!” Hailey screamed, intending to help him. She had not expected that Jared would be at a disadvantage the minute the fight began.

As Jared’s beloved, she refused to remain a passive observer while Jared faced the threat of death. If fate dictated that Jared would meet his demise, she would willingly die alongside him. Santiago grabbed Hailey as he knew she would die if she were to join the fight.

With a deafening blast, the hammer composed of swirling black mist shattered into countless fragments, and the sheer force of the impact propelled Brad forcefully backward, his body hurtling through the air.
