Before Nancy could calm her racing thoughts, Cyrus let go of her and slightly bent over to pick up his phone.

But before his fingers could graze it, Nancy had grabbed Cyrus' arm.

Cyrus turned to look at her, noticing her face betrayed nothing despite the panic swirling in her heart. She took the lead and said, "Cyrus, don't think a prank call can distract us from the real issue. How did you know I sold the 'Only You' and our wedding ring? Were you at the charity auction?"

As Nancy's voice faded, the call on the phone was disconnected.
