Smiling, I jogged back through the front door, and not for the first time, I was surprised by how extravagant the house seemed. This was our headquarters and home of the Sparrow brothers-a pack in its own right. Not that all recognised us as alphas within our family or

most social circles; we were merely seen as the cleaners-those you called when the trash or enemy needed taking out.
