Chapter 504 The Whole Night?

Apparently, Gladys asked for his name intentionally. She wanted Franco to tell everyone the man's name just to humiliate Skylar and Yulia. She was unwilling to accept how arrogant they were to compare themselves to such a god-like figure.

Franco pondered for a moment and replied, "if I remember correctly, I think my dad mentioned that everyone called him… Mr. Stone…" He was stunned as soon as he said that as he immediately stared at Skylar before thinking to himself, Mr, Stone? Wait, Skylar Stone? No way, they both share the same first name? Wait… Yulia's question earlier…

Suddenly, Franco was overwhelmed by an ominous feeling as he wondered if Skylar would really be that man…

Apparently, Gladys noticed Franco's odd demeanor, so she pouted and said, "Honey, I think you're giving a dumb penniless soldier way too much credit. That is a really common first name, so are you saying that everyone who shares the same first name is that man?"

Franco realized that she had a fair point and of course, he was only reacting to his thoughts earlier. He knew that he would never believe that Skylar was the same man his father told him about.

Skylar on the other hand, could not be bothered to explain to them. He even stopped Yulia from arguing by hugging her closer even though she wanted to. So, Yulia decided to enjoy that private moment together. Apparently, Skylar was charmed by Yulia's scent. Since they were in Troiz County, Dianne had already booked a hotel room for them. This meant that they would be spending the night alone together… This also meant that Skylar would be able to have Yulia's company for the entire night. This made Skylar very excited…

Skylar received a phone call after an hour. The caller introduced himself as Walter Wilkins. Apparently, he had already arrived at the banquet and had arranged a driver for Skylar. He knew that Walter was none other than Elder Wilkins himself. Skylar also knew that the only reason why they went to Troiz County in the first place was to meet some important people in the city. Since that was the case, he accepted Walter's invite, but turned down his offer for a ride. That was because he was not close with them and he did not like the idea of others controlling his life.
