Skylar furrowed his brow even more deeply.

"Skylar, what's wrong?"

Yulia inquired hastily.

Skylar gave a tiny smile. "Nothing, just a clown who's getting on my nerves."

"Don't worry, I'll make sure he knows he's asking for trouble."

Yulia nodded without further questions after hearing Skylar's statements.

There was nothing to be terrified of because he was simply a clown.

The three-person family shared a few more words before Skylar bad them farewell and left for Valerie's place.

Skylar presented himself to the security guard as he approached Valerie's mansion's entrance.

Valerie seems to have already instructed the security guard at the door, because when the guy heard his name, he was quite pleasant and even volunteered to accompany Skylar to the parlor.

As soon as he entered the parlor, a lovely figure rushed herself into Skylar's arms.

Valerie's voice had a note of coquetry to it.

Skylar was blushing since the parlor was packed with people, most likely Valerie's family.

Except for Valerie, who seemed to be used to it, everyone else had a dejected look on their face.

Especially a young man dressed in a designer suit who appears to be highly stylish. When he stared at Skylar, his face turned pale, then green, with a trace of hatred in his gaze.

A mocking voice came from alongside Mr. Rhett before he could say anything.

Valerie's cousin was speaking, and he was even more envious of Valerie than Shirley was.

Valerie, on the other hand, looked accustomed to her snarky remarks and didn't bother to answer. Instead, she protested with Emiliano Pearce, stating, "Dad, Skylar is my boyfriend. Why is he considered a man of unknown origin?"
