Braxton stared at Valerie before turning to Skylar and asked, "Your name is Skylar?"

"I heard from Lola that it was because of you that Valerie suffered a severe head injury, resulting in memory confusion."

Skylar made no attempt to refute it and simply replied, "Yes, Mr. Braxton, Valerie's brain injury was indeed caused by me."

"You didn't avoid responsibility, so you still have a conscience."

Braxton's face softened slightly, but before Skylar could respond, he continued, "You have harmed my granddaughter, and you must compensate for medical expenses and lost wages, not to mention mental anguish."

"Without you, Valerie could have become a big star, but her memory confusion has seriously harmed her future."

"Because you voluntarily escorted Valerie back, I only ask for $5 billion in compensation."

"Once the money is transferred, you must immediately leave the Pearce family, Southville, and guarantee that you will have no further contact with Valerie."

"If you fulfill all of these conditions, then our accounts will be settled."

Skylar expressed his displeasure after hearing Braxton's statements, saying, "Compensating five billion is not a problem, but I cannot promise to cut off contact with Valerie."
