When Sherilyn arrived on set, the scale of the production hit her full force. It was her first taste of the big league.

Mr. Marshall, the director, was living up to his reputation, with Michael and Elizabeth as the leads - both a mix of talent and popularity at their peak. Glancing around, she seemed to be the only newcomer in the midst of stars. "Just don't let the side down," she muttered to herself.

"Hey."

Startled from her thoughts in a secluded corner, Sherilyn looked up as someone waved at her from a seat away. It was a girl, smiling warmly. Did they know each other?

"It's me."

The girl swapped seats, now sitting beside Sherilyn, introducing herself with a smile.

"I'm Karol. Remember, we've met."

"Hello," Sherilyn responded politely, though she couldn't place her. The girl did look somewhat familiar.

Seeing her confusion, Karol added, "You know, that time at the Johnson Group, in Mr. Johnson's office. We were at that cocktail party together, remember?" Ah, that jogged her memory. "You're Karol?"

The same Karol who was Gilbert's 'new girlfriend' before he publicly dumped her at that party.

"Yeah, that's me!" Karol beamed, extending her hand. "Nice to meet you. I'm Karol, an artist with Nexus Media Group. What's your name?"
