Chapter 199

When Patricia heard that, the smile on her face gradually vanished as she went over to give them a hug. "Thank you, boys. You guys are the best gift I've ever had. I'm happy enough to have all of you by my side."

She did not need any man because it was enough to spend her days with her children.

Then, Josephine walked into the kitchen and mentioned, "Patricia, Mr. Selwyn is here. You should talk to him. I'll help the boys with the cooking."

Patricia was never interested in cooking. She would not lay a foot in the kitchen if it was not for Isaac, who coerced her into making something for him.

However, her family knew her very well and did not mind about it. The two sons were aware that she was not into cooking, so they took it upon themselves. Even if Josephine was not around in the future, they would not let Patricia cook on her own.

Patricia hugged Josephine. "Alright. I appreciate you all."

She then washed her hands before heading toward the living room where Sylvie was showing Zachary the new dance she had learned recently. "Zach, what do you think of my dance?"

Sylvie loved to call others by their nicknames. Since she was close with Zachary, she tossed the etiquette to the back of her mind.

However, Patricia frowned at that. "Sylvie, you should call him 'Mr. Selwyn'. Do you hear me?"

"No! I like to call him 'Zach'." Her daughter gave her an eye-roll in response before hugging Zachary. "Zach, do you like being called 'Zach'?"

"No! I like to call him 'Zach'." Her daughter gave her an eye-roll in response before hugging Zachary. "Zach, do you like being called 'Zach'?"

Patricia shrugged her shoulders as she had not idea what to do with the little brat.

Zachary caressed the girl's cheeks gently. "You can call me whatever you like."

He had doted on the kids ever since they were young, especially Sylvie. He was basically overindulging her. Thus, Patricia exclaimed, "Zachary, you shouldn't pamper her too much. She'll grow up to be rude."

Still, he proffered a box of Barbies to Sylvie. "Have fun with your new dolls, Sylvie. I have something to tell your mother."

Sylvie cast a glance at her mommy. Despite the heavy heart, she could not wait to play with her new toy as it was the pretty one which she did not own in her collection.

At last, she chose to play with her doll and let them be, seeing that they were best friends anyway. The girl took the doll and had fun on her own at a corner whereas Patricia poured him a cup of tea.

"Here's your tea."

It was difficult to meet up with Zachary, who had not stopped by their house lately due to his busy schedule.

He then took a sip of the warm tea. It was his favorite and he could only taste it at Patricia's place since it was from Josephine's hometown. He missed the taste as it could not be found elsewhere.
