Patricia was stunned momentarily. "You mean Isaac's engagement ceremony?"

She knew what was going to happen this Saturday. It was the engagement day between Adeline and Isaac that had been making waves in the country. Moreover, it was highly possible to see all the big names from Appleby at the ceremony. It was plausible for Zachary to attend the function since the Selwyns were ranked second in terms of affluence in the city.

Knowing that he could not hide the truth, Zachary nodded in total honesty. "Patricia, don't turn me down for this, please?"
