Chapter 225

Patricia listened to Sylvie's coy voice as the little girl expressed her affection, which sounded very sweet.

Sitting next to the bed, Patricia blew on Sylvie's wound. "I'll blow it for you, then. It's the same too."

Sylvie sat meekly in bed and allowed Patricia to fuss over her. Then, she pouted. "Tricia, actually, I would prefer Mr. Handsome to do this for me!"

That was because Isaac resembled the father figure she saw in her dreams. In other words, he looked exactly the same as the daddy she dreamt of and he had a strong resemblance to Scott and Stellan too.

Yet, Patricia was not upset by that as she knew her own daughter very well.

"Okay. I'll get him to do it later."

By then, Stellan had woken up and lifted his hand to rub his eyes.

"Mommy, Mr. Arnold had something urgent to deal with, so he left. I've thanked him for everything." As Stellan spoke, he turned to glance at Scott, and the two of them were in agreement with each other.

Clearly, that man would have to satisfy the challenges set by the two of them if he wished to approach Patricia.

The family of four sat down to enjoy breakfast before the discharge. Scott had sorted out the discharge procedure, so they could leave anytime.

At that moment, Liam walked into the room in a hurry. "Miss Aniston, why did you guys settle the hospital bill? President Arnold told us to waive it."

Liam had just rushed over from home as Isaac had instructed him to come over and settle things here before sending the family of four back home.

To his surprise, Liam had arrived too late to waive the hospital bill. If President Arnold finds out about this, I'll definitely be banished to the outskirts of town!

No, no, no… That cannot happen. I will be at high risk of catching malaria if that happens! I don't wanna die in a forgein place. No!

Patricia was helping Sylvie put on her shoes when she responded calmly, "Mr. Dorchester, we've settled the bill and we don't need the bill to be waived. Please thank President Arnold for his kindness."

She took Sylvie's hand into hers and asked carefully, "Sylvie, are you able to walk by yourself? Do you feel dizzy? I don't mind carrying you."

Being a good girl, Sylvie smiled sweetly at her in response and said, "I'm fine. I don't feel dizzy anymore, so I can walk by myself."

Last night's incident had taught her a lesson and she had matured significantly from that. Mommy's brave even when faced with nasty men, so I want to become as brave as her, and like Scott and Stellan too! Since this was just a minor injury, she was fine and could walk by herself.

Meanwhile, Liam trailed after them and lifted a hand to touch his forehead. I hope President Arnold won't blame me for this.

Isaac headed back to the residential area last night and he strode into the three-bedroom house on his long legs. There were more than ten men tied up inside there.

As soon as they saw the man who entered the place, their eyes widened instantly. They did not expect that someone like Isaac would be alerted by this.

As soon as Blake heard the door opening, he was instantly alerted. His face was covered in blood and he had both hands tied back. Lifting his head slightly, he stared at Isaac with bloodshot eyes.

Rudy tugged off the cloth smothering Blake's mouth forcefully and then kicked him.

"Do you know who he is?"
