Angie had followed Courtney to this place. She overheard her making a call earlier, so she decided to come over and have a look in secret. It never crossed her mind that she would be able to watch such a good show and confirm that Patricia and Isaac were indeed together.

However, Gwen refused to believe it, thinking that Patricia could never marry Isaac. Now, it seemed that there wasn't any hope for Adeline.

Well, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Otherwise, Gwen will be even more haughty than she already is.

Soon, Angie received a call from Gwen. She smiled and picked it up. "Do you get it now, Gwen? Patricia and Isaac are a thing now, and it's confirmed that Addy is no longer his fiancée. I'm sure it has something to do with Patricia."

Gwen was already in a terrible mood, and her face was full of resentment when she heard that.

Back then, the reason she was even able to marry Andy was that she had taken advantage of Melanie Munoz's beauty. That woman was too beautiful, so Andy didn't have a sense of security when he was with her. Whenever she talked to another man, he would get jealous.

Therefore, Gwen made use of it and fabricated stories that Melanie had cheated on Andy. In the end, Melanie was chased out of the Aniston Family, and Gwen married Andy.


Now, her darn daughter is trying to snatch Addy's man. She must be sick of living!

"Thanks for the information, Angie. I'll hang up now." Gwen's muffled voice suggested that she was displeased.

Before the other party could hang up, Angie said, "Are you mad, Gwen? Patricia is really something. Not only has she made Zachary fall for her, but she even got the Arnolds to accept her."

Her words were like a sharp blade that jabbed right into Gwen's heart. Other than being as beautiful as her mother, that woman is a good-for-nothing. She even gave birth to kids for a man in his 70s. What right does she have to snatch Addy's man?

She snorted. "We'll keep in touch, Angie."

After hanging up the call in a hurry, she tossed the phone away furiously. What did Patricia do to make the Arnolds accept her? On the other hand, Addy got engaged to Isaac, but Old Mrs. Arnold never acknowledged her as part of the family.

In the end, the wedding was called off right in front of the relatives.

When all the dots were connected, Gwen realized that it was Patricia's way of getting her revenge.

Perhaps she had plotted to make Isaac break up with Adeline right on their engagement day to embarrass her so that Adeline would never be able to face her relatives again.

Gwen stood straight up and left the room before heading to Adeline's bedroom.

The moment she entered the room, she saw Adeline putting on makeup in front of her dressing table. As she looked at her daughter's alluring face, she felt that she would've married a woman like Adeline if she were a man.
