Chapter 278

After getting off work, Isaac brought Patricia to the nearby styling studio.

As they entered, the receptionist came up and greeted them. "Welcome! Do you have an appointed stylist?"

Just then, the studio manager jogged over. "Mr. Arnold…"

Isaac dipped his head in return and instructed, "Style her hair and do her makeup to fit her dress."

At that, the manager brought the couple to the VIP room, where Isaac sat on the couch with his legs elegantly crossed.

Meanwhile, a staff member served up some coffee and cakes for two.

Isaac took a sip of the coffee and even checked out the cakes. Strawberry shortcakes and donuts. Hmm… her favorites.

With that, he picked up a donut, approached the vanity, delivered it to Patricia's mouth without making any eye contact with her, and strode back to the couch. After taking a bite, Patricia held the rest of the donut in her hand as she chewed. Not bad! This is some good stuff.

She looked in his direction with smiling eyes through the mirror only to find him using his phone with furrowed brows. He was probably getting work done.

At that, she took another bite, feeling all warm and fuzzy.

"Your boyfriend sure is sweet, Miss Aniston, and handsome too!" The stylist doing her hair commented with a smile, to which Patricia nodded in agreement.

She had to admit that a boyfriend like him made her feel loved.

Patricia's hair and makeup were finally done over an hour later, and she proceeded to put on the evening dress.

The diamond chain dangling on the right side of the silver mask sparkled exceptionally brightly in her hand as she walked toward Isaac in heels. "Isaac, what do you think?"

The man looked up and riveted his fathomless gaze on her without any visible emotional changes. However, on the inside, he wished for no one else to see this side of her, for she was a bombshell right then and exceptionally alluring.

He had the urge to just take her home and hide her there. She was his and his only to appreciate.

Patricia, on the other hand, lowered her head to check herself out when she saw him looking impassively at her. "You don't like it?"

However, he stood up suddenly and draped her lilac coat over her shoulder, even bringing the two ends together. "I want to shoot everyone who has seen you in this."

With that, he took her out in his arms while the staff followed behind to see them off.

Meanwhile, Patricia was still reeling from what he had just said. This man can really shock you with his words. That said, she believed she was looking great with how he described it, and that was all that mattered.
