Patricia couldn't help bursting into laughter as she took a gander at Isaac. "Don't you think you're being overbearing, Mr. Arnold?"

At that, Isaac's gaze deepened. "It's your fault you look so stunning," he whispered into her ear, rendering her smiling speechlessly. Do I look that good? To think it's putting Isaac this much on edge.

She finally understood when people said beauty was in the eye of the beholder. She thought she looked average or maybe a little beautiful but definitely nowhere near a goddess. That said, it felt great that he cared.

Later, the car pulled up at the entrance of The Grandview, a five-star hotel owned by the Ortegas. Nikola's birthday party was held in their largest hall.

Many reporters and journalists were keeping watch at the entrance. But because everyone attending the party wore masks, the media didn't know who was who. It was also why Nikola listed masks as part of the dress code. He wanted everyone to have a good time without worrying about revealing themselves.

Before getting out of the car, Isaac put on his silver mask, which was a matching set to Patricia's, making his eyes even more bewitching. At that, he pursed his lips and looked toward the young lady aside, who had also put on hers.

Then, Patricia waited for Isaac to exit the vehicle before doing so herself. After that, she hooked her arm around Isaac's, and the two headed into the hotel.

The camera lights flashed the whole time they walked, but the pictures were practically useless no matter how they took them as no one could tell who was who, let alone know the man entering the hotel right then was the Isaac Arnold.

Meanwhile, Patricia walked hand in hand with Isaac in front of the public with a smile. As she felt super safe, her presence became much more commanding.

After entering the hotel, an usher led them to the banquet hall, which was decorated with a Halloween theme, surprising Patricia. She had assumed the place would look lavish. Everywhere she looked, there were skeletons, and there were many ushers dressed up in ghost, zombie, and vampire costumes.

She looked at the banquet hall with eyes wide with awe as she had never seen a party like this. I bet my kids would be over the moon if they were here.

Just then, Isaac caressed her hand. "Scared?"

Nikola would come up with a theme for his birthday every year. It was a pajama party last year, while this year's theme was a little quirkier. Then again, it fit his role as a doctor well.

Patricia chuckled. "No. I just never thought a birthday party could be like this."

At that, Isaac led her to a lounge not far away. Because their appearance and temperament stood out, many would glance at them while some even whispered as they walked across the hall.

"Which celebrity couple are they? They're indeed some tasty eye candy!"

"I really want to see the faces under those masks. I bet they're a perfect match."
