Chapter 829

Hearing her faint gag, Nicole could not help but glare at her coldly.

Queenie sensed her sister's anger and became even more conceited. "What's wrong, Sis? Was I right?" she continued while laughing.

Chuckling subtly, Nicole directed a somewhat discriminatory gaze at her. She smirked and said, "I thought with what happened to William, you and Lydia would scramble to leave the country. I never thought you'd dare to stay here and even get yourself a boyfriend like Bryan."

She lowered her eyelids and seemed deep in thought when she suddenly recalled something. "If my memories serve me correctly, Bryan has a wife, doesn't he? Haha. After leaving the house, you've become someone else's mistress instead."

Originally, Queenie wanted to agitate her sister, but she got humiliated by Nicole. Livid, she stared at her and sneered. "You're not that much better. To get closer to the Wrenns, you even donated your blood. Perhaps Madam Gould's car accident was planned!"

Nicole's expression went solemn immediately, for she looked at Queenie with crossed arms, uttering emotionlessly, "You should know better than to spout nonsense, Queenie."

Intimidated by her cold gaze, Queenie bit her lip to try and stay calm before she snorted. "Otherwise, why would everything be this coincidental? Just as Madam Gould got into the accident, you happened to be at the hospital. Best of all, you two had matching blood types. Through the blood transfusion, you've now got the Goulds as support. Isn't this all because of her son?"

Not in the mood to argue about such petty matters, Nicole stood up and turned around, wanting to leave without even looking her in the eye.

At that, Queenie quickly held her wrist to stop her. "Sis, don't leave. We haven't talked for so long. Why are you in such a rush? Don't tell me that you schemed something behind the scenes?"

Shaking her hand off, Nicole stated coldly, "Don't act so chummy and call me that. I feel nauseous. If you're all about familial love, why don't you visit William? After all, he's the father that raised you."

Queenie's countenance flushed red as her sore spot was poked. She stared at her sister with red-rimmed eyes and rebuked, "Oh, get off your high horse! You're not that much better than me!"

As Nicole's laughter rang in the air, she averted her gaze onto Queenie before uttering calmly, "Right. When I visited him, he told me how much he misses you. If you have time, do visit him. Hey, you might have the chance to accompany him in the future."

Her words made Queenie's face go pale as she roared vehemently, "What are you saying, Nicole?"
