Chapter 918

"He's with my mom." Colton came over and was slightly surprised when he saw Nicole's makeup.

After staring at Nicole for a while, Colton turned to the two makeup artists beside them and instructed, "I think it's done? You can head outside for now."

Those two were sensible, and they hurriedly left.

Once they left the room, Nicole realized something was off and hugged her chest. She stared at Colton, warning him, "Don't you dare try anything, or I'll beat you up."

When Colton heard her weak threats, he wasn't bothered but instead chuckled softly.

Then, he made his way over to her before bending down so that his gaze was parallel with Nicole's newly made-up face.

"Nicole, you look stunning today." He wasn't stingy with his compliments as he spoke slowly.

Meanwhile, Nicole frowned and touched her arms while retorting disdainfully, "Can you stop being so disgusting?"

Colton wasn't angry after hearing what she said. Instead, he smiled even brighter while using his lips to rub against her cheek.

While leaning backward, Nicole pushed Colton's face away, warning, "Watch it. I have makeup on my face."

Colton moved toward her lips and placed his lips directly against hers.

At that moment, Nicole's eyes widened as she wasn't expecting Colton to act so shamelessly. It happened so suddenly that she couldn't register what was happening.

Seeing that Nicole wasn't resisting, Colton deepened the kiss.

When Nicole finally realized what was happening, he pushed his chest hard, wanting to separate this clingy person from her. However, Colton was like superglue that was tightly glued onto her body.

Finally finding a chance to speak, she looked displeased, and her voice was filled with warning as she spoke. "Colton, we've agreed that this engagement is just for show, so what do you think you're doing?"

Her voice currently sounded raspy because of the kiss just now.

"Nicole, I love you. Why don't you marry me? I don't have any flaws. I'm rich and talented, and I look quite handsome too, don't you think so?"

Once Colton released her red lips, he noticed the lipstick on her lips had spread out onto her skin because of the kiss. It was evident what kind of activity they had just gone through with just a glance.

In the meantime, Nicole frowned deeply. I shouldn't have agreed to Colton's suggestion. This situation is exactly like a sheep entering a wolf's den!

"That is not what I have in mind, so please stick to our agreement, President Gardner!" Nicole rejected him.

Colton wasn't surprised as he stared at her serious look. He leaned closer and gently pecked her lips before complaining, "We clearly have feelings for each other, but the way we're acting makes me feel like these feelings are only one-sided."
