Nancy nodded, waiting to finish dinner before Wilma took her hand for a heart-to-heart. Only then did Nancy stand up and head back to her bedroom to sleep.

Cyrus watched everything unfold, quickly gulping down his cup of coffee, about to follow her.

But Wilma suddenly spoke up, "Cyrus, sit down. We need to talk about the business."

Cyrus stopped mid-step. Since his parents stepped back from the company, he had kept his distance from business matters.
