Summary of A Gamma's Revenge by Ylyanah (Chapter 1: The Unknown Future Gamma)

Zalia, a 26-year-old Lycan and the future Gamma of the Moon Stone Pack, is highly trained and respected within her pack. Despite her capabilities, she often faces discrimination during inter-pack visits because others do not recognize her true status. While her own pack values strength and skill regardless of gender, outsiders—especially those from higher-ranked packs—dismiss her, assuming she is just a subordinate.

During a visit to the Onyx Moon Pack, Zalia clashes with Layla, the spoiled daughter of Alpha Mike, who orders her to fetch coffee. Unwilling to tolerate disrespect, Zalia defies Layla, leading to tension with the Onyx Moon Pack’s leadership. Alpha Mike, unaware of Zalia’s strength, demands an apology, which she refuses. The confrontation nearly escalates into violence, but Alpha Brad, Zalia’s Alpha, intervenes.

Zalia also struggles with the constant scrutiny of her appearance and eating habits, as other females belittle her for not conforming to their unrealistic beauty standards. Despite the challenges, she remains steadfast, refusing to let others define her worth.
